  • The Norfolk 14-foot One-Design Dinghy Class

These traditional boats started life in 1931 and have quite a history. They have not changed at all over the years apart from converting from cotton to terylene sails.
The boats are still raced all over the Norfolk Broads during winter and summer. We have no base as such but rather owners will sail at their local clubs and visit other locations for open meetings and the annual championships.
Regular fleets can be found at the following clubs:
    Norwich Frostbite Sailing Club          website
    Beccles Amateur Sailing Club            website
    Norfolk Broads Yacht Club                  website

In addition many regattas include class races within their programme.
